Nick Edwards, Director

A Founding Director of White Space, Nick has over 10 years’ consultancy experience working for companies including E.On, Samsung, Unilever and MITIE.
Nick is a specialist in New Market Entry and New Proposition Development within B2B markets. His work over recent years has pioneered White Space’s methodology for interviewing top level senior management within market analysis projects. He is also an expert in creating innovative sales strategies for B2B industries.
Nick has undergraduate and postgraduate degrees in Geography from Jesus College, Oxford and a Professional Postgraduate Diploma in Marketing. He has also represented Wales and Oxford University at rugby.
John Bee, Director MA Cantab, DipM ACIM
John is a Founding Director of White Space, and has 8 years’ consultancy experience working for companies including RBS, BT and Gillette.
He leads White Space’s statistical and data analysis capability, applying cutting-edge techniques in Consumer and B2B markets. He also runs White Space’s pro bono practice and is a member of Helen & Douglas House's Corporate Advisory Group, a non-executive role supporting the world's first children's hospice.
John holds undergraduate and postgraduate degrees in History from Cambridge University, and professional qualifications from the Chartered Institute of Marketing.
Deri Hughes, Non-Executive Director
MChem Oxon
Deri is a Non-Executive Director, drawing on his experience of working for leading strategy consultancy Bain & Company at a senior level. He has over 10 years’ research and consultancy experience, working for CEOs and Board members of many of the world’s most recognisable companies.
His role primarily involves supporting White Space’s company strategy development. He is also involved in delivery of complex projects for clients where he has highly relevant experience.
Deri holds a Masters and a PhD in Chemistry from Oxford University. He is also a trustee of the Harry Birrell Scholarship Trust, a charity providing education to poor and under-privileged children in Africa.
